Paul Rand Website

Each individual received a well renowned designer to research and study. After compiling research, we were to design a website using Adobe Muse scroll effects that resembled or reflected that designer’s style of work.

The designer I researched was Paul Rand and after viewing his work, I decided to focus on a few key elements from some of his well known pieces. I used the illustrative version of his IBM logo, the hand from the cover of the children’s book “Sparkle and Spin,” the cascading dots from his UCLA Extension poster, and the irregular text boxes are pulled from his 1975 poster for the Yale University of Art . Because many of these are simple illustrations, actions or behaviors were easy to apply to them to bring Rand’s artwork to life. ¬†Follow the link below to try it out yourself:
