Four Winds Winery

When asked to design the labels for three bottles of wine, I thought to myself, “What’s better than a well-paired meal with your glass of wine?” but I also thought about the new generation of wine-drinkers. They want information and they want it now. Putting the pairing on the bottle is a simple way to do this.

Thus, Four Winds became a modern Washington winery. Their colors still follow the classic colors of wine grapes—purple, red, and green—but with a funky, modern twist. The overlaid text and boxes are what give it a modernist vibe. The etchings of the animal contrast the bold, solid color and ground the design.
